Le Café de la Paix

This photograph from 1935 shows the very Parisian past-time of sitting outside on the terrace of a cafe and people-watching. We get a sense of the neighborhood and the style of the era comes through in the clothing of the passers-by walking and in the waiter standing in the center of the photo.
