Paris City & Civ is a free mobile app and web platform that uses multimedia storytelling organized around tours of Parisian neighborhoods and Parisian sites to explore the urban development and rich artistic and cultural heritage of the City of Light. This interdisciplinary project was developed by faculty and students at Cleveland State University in Art History, World Languages, and Urban Studies. It includes students in ART/UST 375 City and Civilization: Paris, taught by Dr. Marian Bleeke, spring 2019, and students in WLC 340 Field Study in Paris, taught by Dr. Tama Engelking. The field study students spent 8 days in Paris over spring break developing guided tours and researching their projects.
