‘4000’ was a gallery exhibition celebrating the 4,000th piece that Invader has placed around the world. Inside, many of his most significant mosaics were photo-replicated, or rather turned into aliases, and plastered along the walls. It really brings Invader’s missions for the Space Invader project full circle, as he started this project as a liberation from the conventional means of viewing and placing art in institutions.
