Henri Matisse, another famous impressionist painter known for his portraits of young women similarly to Auguste Renoir. On the contrary, Renoirs paintings use a much more vibrant colour palette and his subjects and objects in his paintings are more outlined rather than faded and dreamlike. His paintings are much less realistic and pay less attention to the minor details and focus on the picture as a whole.
