A young girl on the brink of womanhood, a common subject of Renoirs work is being depicted coming out of a bath. Renoir is one of the most well-loved impressionist artists and much of his work is displayed at the Musée de l’Orangerie. Light colours and soft outlines were characteristic of his artwork.
